Supporting Individuals and Organisations

For more than 20 years we have worked with individuals, grassroots disability organisations and inclusive schools in China to support them build organisational and operational capacity. Organisations we have supported include Beijing One Plus One (one of China’s first and most influential DPOs), Rong Ai Rong Le (a pioneer in supported employment for people with intellectual disabilities) and Qisehua Inclusive Kindergarten, located in central China’s Henan Province. We have worked with numerous disabled individuals, many of whom have now become influential in disability movements in China, East Asia and internationally.

Tailored Approaches

Today, we continue this work of supporting our partners through coaching, mentoring and, where possible, the provision of small organisational grants.

Recent support includes:

– Leadership coaching for a small neurodiversity NGO

– International study tour for an inclusive theatre group

From our partners…

“Over the past ten years, China Vision developed a bespoke project for Qisehua Inclusive Kindergarten to establish and run an inclusive education Resource Centre. From organisational structure to role allocation and professional development, China Vision has supported Qisehua to create a professional team, giving one-on-one coaching to managers. This has helped our transformation from providing personalised support for individual development to developing a professional training and resource centre to support inclusive education on a wider scale. The Resource Centre became an important force for the promotion of preschool inclusion and it has received international recognition.”
